Birdworld Kuranda is a vibrant, free-flying aviary located within the Kuranda Heritage Markets in Tropical North Queensland. It's an immersive experience where hundreds of colourful birds from around the world fly, feed, and play in a lush rainforest habitat.
The experience allows you to get up close with over 60 species, including majestic macaws, cheeky Amazonian parrots, a giant cassowary, and vibrant lorikeets. You can hand-feed some of the friendly birds, creating amazing photo opportunities as they land on your shoulders. The layout, complete with waterfalls and ponds, replicates a natural rainforest environment.
